Select Sires Inc. and member cooperatives have opened the application process for summer internships. Various programs are available throughout the United States. At Select Sires headquarters in Plain City, Ohio, there are opportunities within the sales and marketing, communications, semen processing and veterinary departments.
“We offer a variety of hands-on internships to provide practical work experience to college students,” says David Thorbahn, Select Sires president and C.E.O. “These internships help introduce students to real-world experiences and allow them to contribute to the day-to-day operation of the Select Sires federation.”
College students pursuing a degree in dairy science, animal science, agricultural economics, agricultural communications, information systems or related agricultural fields may apply for these internships.
