“Rasmussen’s long career has demonstrated what a valuable asset he is to his customers and to this industry,” said Jerry Connealy, of Connealy Angus. “The entire cattle region he serves has been improved due to his stellar work ethic, his dedication to education, and service to all.”
Rasmussen began his career in 1992, dedicating more than three decades to advancing reproductive technologies and supporting American beef producers. He manages the A.I. breeding of more than 10,000 heifers and cows, primarily in the late spring and summer months. Since 1992, he has sold more than 650,000 units of semen, almost exclusively beef genetics. His success is rooted in building strong relationships, prioritizing customer care, and his steadfast belief in the value of A.I.
“Stuart has had a huge impact in his territory for more than 30 years, helping producers raise superior and more profitable cattle,” said Randy Hill, former general manager of Select Sires MidAmerica.
Known for underselling and overdelivering, he has tirelessly educated producers and promoted reproductive technologies that have driven genetic progress across the industry. His efforts have left a legacy of improved efficiency and profitability for beef producers.
“Stuart is an incredible cheerleader for A.I,” said Brian House, vice president of beef program and product manager, Select Sires Inc. “Throughout his career, his diligence in promoting A.I. and synchronization along with better genetics has truly made a difference for his customers.”
